Questions often arise about the electronic voting machine ie EVM. But these days, after an order by Nana Patole, the then Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, there has been a debate on political EVMs in Maharashtra. On this, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has taken a dig at the Congress, justifying the EVM. Pawar has said that when the Congress government came to Rajasthan and Punjab, the EVM was right and where the heavy vote was lost, it is said that EVM has been managed.

इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीन यानी EVM को लेकर अक्सर सवाल उठते रहते हैं। लेकिन इन दिनों विधानसभा के तत्कालीन स्पीकर नाना पटोले के एक आदेश के बाद महाराष्ट्र में राजनीतिक ईवीएम पर बहस छिड़ी हुई है. इसको लेकर महाराष्ट्र के डिप्टी सीएम अजित पवार ने ईवीएम को सही ठहराते हुए कांग्रेस को आड़े हाथ लिया है. पवार ने कहा है कि जब कांग्रेस की सरकार राजस्‍थान और पंजाब में आई तब तो EVM सही और जहां भारी मतों से हार मिली वहां कहते हैं कि ईवीएम मैनेज किया गया है।
