Chamoli Disaster: Death toll reaches to 18

It was a normal winter morning on Sunday until the residents were jolted by the massive flash floods caused by glacier bursts in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand. A mammoth rescue operation is underway, debris is being removed from the tunnel near the Tapovan area. So far bodies of 18 people have been recovered. Over 200 people are still missing.
