The Central Government has not taken any decision yet to implement the National Register of Citizens i.e. NRC across the country. The Union Home Ministry has told the Parliamentary Committee that the Center has not taken any decision regarding the implementation of NRC across the country. देशभर में नेशनल रजिस्टर ऑफ सिटिजेन्स यानि NRC को लागू करने को लेकर केंद्र सरकार ने अभी कोई फैसला नहीं लिया है। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने संसदीय समिति से कहा है कि पूरे देश में एनआरसी लागू करने के बारे में केंद्र ने कोई फैसला नहीं किया है। मंत्रालय ने कांग्रेस नेता आनंद शर्मा की अध्यक्षता वाली गृह मामलों संबंधी स्थायी समिति को बताया है
