President Joe Biden is directing several federal agencies to take measures that aim to advance racial equity in the United States, says Susan Rice, the director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, during a news briefing. Biden on Tuesday presented his racial equity plan and signed several executive orders, including a measure to end the use of private prisons for federal inmates.
