During an appearance on “Salon Talks,” Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Cherry Jones opens up about her role as defense attorney Joanna Klein in the Apple TV+ mini-series “Defending Jacob.” The drama series unfolds after a boy is accused of a shocking crime in a small Massachusetts town. From the start, Jones says she felt a connection to the story. “As a theater performer, going into that courtroom was quite thrilling because it's like a theater. It’s why they always say lawyers are just frustrated actors,” she said.
