India batsman Cheteshwar Pujara on Saturday continued his watchful innings that he had started at the end of day on Friday. He had ended Friday with a score of 9 runs in 44 balls. On Saturday, he scored the slowest fifty of his Test career, of 173 balls and was dismissed soon after when Pat Cummins got him to edge one to wicketkeeper Tim Paine. Pujara has been dismissed by Cummins four out of the five times in this series. Nathan Lyon has picked him once, in the first innings of the first Test.
