Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of nine temples that were dismantled by the previous TDP regime to widen roads or construct flyovers in Vijayawada.

ఏపీలో గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో తొలగించిన దేవాలయాల పునర్నిర్మాణానికి ఏపీ సీఎం జగన్ శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. విజయవాడలో పై వంతెన నిర్మాణం కోసం గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో తొలగించిన దేవాలయాల పునర్నిర్మాణానికి శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో హిందూ ఆలయాలపై వివాదం నెలకొన్న నేపథ్యంలో ప్రభుత్వం కీలక ముందడుగు వేసింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి విజయవాడ లో పలు ఆలయాల నిర్మాణానికి శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.
