आईपीएल के 14वें सीजन के लिए बहुत सारी बातें अब तक उठती रही है. पहले कहा जा रहा था कि इस बार आठ नहीं दस टीमें हिस्सा लेंगी. इसके बाद बीसीसीआई ने साफ़ कर दिया कि आईपीएल के 15वें सीजन में टीमें बढ़ेगी. इस सीजन नहीं. फिर मेगा ऑक्शन को लेकर भी अपडेट दिया गया कि इस साल नहीं होने वाला. अब मिनी ऑक्शन को लेकर बड़ी खबरें निकलकर सामने आई है. जी हाँ, छोटी नीलामी इस बार होने वाली है. और इसको लेकर तारिख भी सामने आ गयी है. 11 फरवरी को आईपीएल की नीलामी होगी. PL गवर्निंग काउंसिल ने सभी 8 फ्रैंचाइजी को 20 जनवरी तक रिटेन खिलाड़ियों की लिस्ट जमा करने को कहा है. काउंसिल ने सोमवार को वर्चुअल मीटिंग के जरिए इसपर बातचीत की. हालांकि IPL 2021 की तारीख और वेन्यू पर अभी फैसला नहीं लिया गया है.
