Instant Rava Idli and Sambar recipe

Today I am sharing a delicious South Indian Idli and Sambar recipe with u. It is an instant recipe which gets ready in just an hour. Hope u will like my recipe. Do give this a try and share ur experience in comments.


Ingredients

For Sambar:
Tur/Arhar dal - 1.5 cup
Salt - as per taste
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Water - 2 cups

Oil - 4 tbsp
Onion - 1 sliced
Sambar masala - 2 tbsp
Tomatoes - 2 chopped
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Pumpkin - 1 cup
Carrot - 1 cup
Drumsticks - 1 cup
Tamirind water - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 cut into cube
Jaggery - 1/4 cup
Water - 2.5 cups

For tempering:
Oil - 4 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Fenugreek/meethi seeds - 1/2 tsp
Whole red chilli - 4
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 15 to 20

Fresh coriander to garnish


For Instant Rava Idli:
Rava/semolina - 1.5 cup
Yoghurt/Curd - 1.5 cup
Salt - as per taste
Eno/fruit salt - 1.5 tsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil - to grease mould
