The Bowl singer, who had eaten at the house of Basudeb Das during the West Bengal tour, was criticized by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Immediately after Amit Shah left from there, Das said that he was very happy that Shah came to his house, made food there and heard his bowl song, but he is sad to not get a chance to talk to the Union Home Minister.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने पश्चिम बंगाल दौरे के दौरान जिस बाउल गायक बासुदेब दास के घर पर भोजन किया था अब उसी ने बीजेपी की आलोचना की है।बुधवार को दास ने अफसोस जाहिर करते हुए कहा कि शांति निकेतन स्थित उनके घर पर भोजन करने के तुरंत बाद अमित शाह वहां से चले गए.दास ने कहा कि उन्हें बहुत खुशी हुई कि शाह उनके घर आए, वहां बना भोजन किया और उनका बाउल गाना सुना, लेकिन उन्हें केन्द्रीय गृह मंत्री से बात करने का मौका नहीं मिलने का दुख है.
