The government is likely to invite bids this week for the privatisation of Shipping Corporation of India, with buyers getting time till mid-February to submit their expressions of interest (EoIs), said an official.

मोदी सरकार नेशिपिंग कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया में अपनी 63.75 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी के विनिवेश के लिए बोलियां आमंत्रित की है. विनिवेश और सार्वजनिक परिसंपत्ति प्रबंधन विभाग ने एक ज्ञापन जारी करते हुए 13 फरवरी 2021 तक संभावित खरीदारों से अभिरुचि पत्र आमंत्रित किया है. मौजूदा बाजार मूल्य के आधार पर शिपिंग कॉरपोरेशन में सरकार की हिस्सेदारी की कीमत करीब 2,500 करोड़ रुपये है.
