Coronavirus: Prince Charles and Camilla visit COVID-19 vaccination centre
  • 3 years ago
Britain's Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, visited a COVID-19 vaccination centre in Gloucester, England on Thursday as the UK's vaccination programme continued to be rolled out. The couple visited Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where people have been receiving the first doses of the Pfizer-manufactured vaccine, and spoke to medical workers before unveiling a plaque to commemorate their visit. Britain, the second-worst hit country in Europe with more than 65,000 deaths, is the first Western nation to begin mass vaccinations and the first globally to administer the Pfizer-BioNTech shot
