As the farmers' agitation entered its 21st day on Wednesday, the Supreme Court today heard a slew of pleas on the farmers’ protest and issued a notice to the central government and state governments over the pleas that sought removal of the farmers from the Delhi border points. The apex court said the Centre's negotiations with the furious farmers have "not worked apparently" and said it will form a committee having representatives of both the sides to resolve the impasse but the agitating leaders dismissed it as no solution.
