A 30-MEMBER DELEGATION OF LADY OFFICERS ACQUIRES SELF DEFENCE AND FIREARMS SAFETY TRAINING AT SSU HQ

Karachi: On the directives of DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed, self-defence and firearms safety course was conducted at SSU Headquarters where a 30-member delegation of lady civil servants participated.

During the training, delegation was briefed about martial arts, firing and the use of different types of weapons. The purpose of the course was to make delegation aware of various precautions in case of any emergency or terrorist attack. The delegation also made shooting practice practically.

The delegation also visited various departments of SSU headquarters and commended the professional standard maintained and efforts to further enhance the capabilities of SSU Commandos.

The participants of the course expressing their views said that SSU has provided us a platform where we can now get self-defence training along with civil services.

On this occasion, the DIG Security and Emergency Services Division said that interest of participants in self-defence exercises is worth appreciating and the participants will have the full support of the Security Division and SSU in this regard.

The delegation comprised officers from Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service Of Pakistan, Sindh Provincial Management Service, Judiciary, Banks and other organizations. The delegation was led by Kanwal Nizam Bhutto and included Warda Nayab, Hiba Shah, Murk Gul, Syeda Ayesha Naqvi, Sidra Hussain, Asma Hussain, Mehwish Solangi, Umamah Solangi, Rabia Syed, Saima Hassan, Ayesha Saher, Neha Shah, Javeria, Kaninal Shahani, Hafsa Fatima, Sadaf Gul, Marvi Manzoor, Farida Abbasi, Maria Latif, Shafaq Mehboob, Daniya Rana, Hina Ali Shaikh, Mehwish, Dr. Qurat-ul-Ain Memon, Sadaf Azam, Syeda Jasiah Fatima, Asma Batool, Zashia Kehman, Madiha Narejo, Umaira Danish Dervi, Aneesa Shaikh, Rafia Naz and Ayesha Arif Khan.

Later, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division presented certificates to the participants.
