The Simple Carnival - A Geek Like Me (2D and 3D versions)

The first half of this video is in 2D. The second half is the same footage, but in anaglyph 3D. To view the footage in 3D, you will need red/cyan 3D glasses, with the red lens over the left eye.

I created this video with 4,418 sheets of paper and a lot of pencils. It took approximately a year to make, from storyboards to final cut. It won the Ray Zone Award for Excellence in 3-DIY at the 10th Annual LA 3-D Movie Festival, the Perron Award for Short Animated 3D at the 2014 Stereo MEDIA Summit, and the Paul Wing Best of Show Award at the 2014 National Stereoscopic Association convention (3D-Con).
