2,234 new Covid-19 cases, 70% in Klang Valley

Malaysia set a record today for the highest number of new cases recorded in a single day with 2,234 Covid-19 cases.
On top of that, the Health Ministry reported that, 70% of all the new cases reported today were detected in the Klang Valley region.
According to the Selangor Health Department, the massive spike in Selangor was due to new cases detected from the Seruling cluster involving workplace testing.
