Farmers call for Bharat Bandh on December 8

The farmer union leaders called for protests against the India's new farm laws and have announced that they would intensift the protest. they have called for Bharat Bandh on 8 December as part of the agitation. "Yesterday, we told the Government (at the meeting) that the farm laws should be withdrawn. We have given a call for Bharat Bandh on 8 December," said Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU-Lakhowal) General Secretary, Harvinder Singh Ladkhwal at Singhu Border after a meeting.
