Fire at Ghazipur landfill site adds to Delhi's pollution woes

Thick smoke was seen rising from the Ghazipur landfill site after a fire broke out at the waste mountain early Wednesday morning. This has added to Delhi's already worsening pollution. The air quality in Delhi showed no signs of improvement and remained in the "very poor" category on Wednesday, with the AQI at 347, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
