With 44,376 fresh coronavirus cases, India's tally mounted to 92,22,217 on Wednesday. The death toll reached 1,34,699 after 481 fresh deaths were reported. The total active cases now stand at 4,44,746, and the total discharged cases at 86,42,771 with 37,816 new discharges in the last 24 hours. As the country witnesses a sharp rise in coronavirus cases, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held two meetings with the chief ministers on Tuesday.
