India records over 44,000 coronavirus cases in a day; states struggle to cope with crisis

India has recorded over 44,000 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday. The country's total cases is now more than 91 lakh; and with over 500 fresh deaths, the toll has mounted to more than 1 lakh. India has the world's second-highest number of Covid-19 infections, after the United States. Watch this video to know more.
