Thailand protest: rap group ‘Rap Against Dictatorship’ takes aim at monarchy
  • 3 years ago
Thai rap group “Rap Against Dictatorship” has been taking aim at the country’s government. The hip-hop sensation debuted their latest song “Reform” which slams the lack of response to the pro-democracy protests and the failure to act on demonstrators’ demands. The group’s music style has made it a thorn in the side of authorities, and one of its founders, Dechathorn Bamrungmuang, was arrested in August and charged with sedition.
