Hundreds of Thai schoolchildren protest against dictatorship
  • 4 years ago
Hundreds of Thai young people, still in uniform after finishing school, gather outside the Ministry of Education. They join ongoing protests organized mostly by university students across the kingdom. This week the movement has taken hold in high schools where teenagers have been holding up three fingers each morning as the national anthem plays. Protesters are calling for an overhaul of Prayut's government, a rewrite of the constitution and the abolition of a controversial royal defamation law.
