Centre announced USD 120 million grant for Covid-19 vaccine research: Harsh Vardhan

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan attended the 8th BRICS STI ministerial meet on Nov 13 via video-conferencing due to the ongoing pandemic. “Our government has announced USD 120 million grant for Covid-19 vaccine research. The grant doesn't cover the actual cost of the vaccine and its distribution expenses which will be made available as and when a vaccine is made,” said Harsh Vardhan.
