After Pfizer's claim that the COVID-19 vaccine is more than 90% effective based on initial trial results, a few volunteers said that they suffered side effects comparable to a flu jab, with one comparing them to "a severe hangover". Around 43,500 people in six countries have taken part in the phase three trial run by the pharmaceutical giant and its partner BioNTech.

डेली मेल के मुताबिक एक 45 वर्षीय वॉलंटियर ने कहा कि उसे फ्लू के टीके की ही तरह साइड इफेक्ट्स हुएं लेकिन यह दूसरे टीके के बाद उसे गंभीर लक्षणों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. उन्होंने बताया कि फाइजर दवा का हैंगओवर उन्हें हुआ है.
