Firecrackers ban in India ahead of Diwali

While India gears up to celebrate the Diwali, various states and Union Territories have banned the sale and use of firecrackers, fireworks due to surge in pollution levels and a fear of increase in coronavirus cases across the country during the winter season. Earlier, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) imposed a total ban on sale and use of all kinds of firecrackers in the National Capital Region (NCR). For more, watch the full video.
