Vanakkam America: Kamala Harris' ancestral village in Tamil Nadu hails her VP-elect win

As soon as Kamala Harris, a woman who has her roots in a remote village called Thulasendrapuram in Painganadu, near Mannargudi in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvarur district, made history by becoming the first woman and first Indian-American to become the US Vice President-elect, the word spread among the 150 houses in the village. Families got together, burst firecrackers, distributed sweets on Harris' victory and wished her good luck for the next four years. Watch this video for more.
