Mahanati titled Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil, is 2018 Telugu-Tamil biographical period film based on the life of South Indian actress Savitri. The film is directed by Nag Aswin and produced by C. Keerthy made her debut as a child actress in the early 2000s and returned to fill lead roles after completing an education in fashion design. She played her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali and has signed up for films in Tamil and Telugu as well. Her 2nd Malayalam movie was Ring Master directed by Raffi with Dileep in the male lead role.
