Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Actor Contracts COVID-19, Shoot Halted; Deepika & Ranveer At The Airport

Shooting of the popular TV soap ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has come to a halt. Reportedly, one of the supporting actors, Sachin Tyagi, has tested positive for COVID-19 and so have a few other crew members. Recently, actor Kushal Tandon also developed symptoms of the disease on the sets of his show. He underwent a swab test, the results of which are awaited. Earlier, the shooting of the show ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ was paused after the main lead Parth Samthaan tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh topped the list of trends on August 24, courtesy their airport looks. The star couple was clicked at the Mumbai airport as they headed back from Bengaluru, Deepika Padukone's hometown. The filmmaker and his family have now tested negative. In a recent interview with TV9 Telugu news channel, Rajamouli said that he is awaiting his doctor’s permission to resume shooting, which he said will start in two to three weeks.
