Watch: Big NEET face-off in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has been witnessing outrage and a political row has started over the NEET examination in the state. While the NEET quota Bill has been unanimously passed by the Tamil Nadu assembly on October 13, it is still awaiting the approval of the state Governor, Banwarilal Purohit, who has sought 3 to 4 weeks to assess and approve the Bill. Meanwhile, the Opposition DMK held a huge protest near Purohit’s residence in Chennai. Several other DMK leaders like Kanimozhi, TR Baalu too attended the protest led by MK Stalin. The DMK has been demanding the Governor’s nod for Tamil Nadu government’s plan of 7.5% quota in NEET examinations for economically weaker in government schools. Watch this video for more.
