Their death in a government hospital a few days later caused national outrage.Paul Durai was earlier lodged at the central prison here and admitted to the GRH after he tested positive for the coronavirus last month. His wife had petitioned the city police seeking permission to shift her husband to Kanyakumari for medical attention.The rift in the extended family of VK Sasikala, her brother V Dhivakaran had a Secret Meeting in his Farm House about the Sasikala release.

A Bharatiya Janata Party leader tweeted that late Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa’s close aide VK Sasikala will likely be released from a prison in Bengaluru on August 14, 2010.Currently serving a four-year sentence, Sasikala had surrendered before the prison authorities on February 15, 2017, a day after the Supreme Court upheld her September 2014 conviction in a disproportionate assets case by a trial court in Bengaluru.
