Haryana has come up with its laws to remove the name of Punjab. After Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta started efforts in this regard, now the state government has constituted a committee for this. This committee, constituted under the chairmanship of the Legal Remembrancer and Administrative Secretary of the Law and Law Department, will review and examine the amendment of the sub-headings of the approved Acts under the 1968 Order. This committee will have to report to the Chief Secretary within a month.

हरियाणा ने अपने कानूनों से पंजाब का नाम हटाने के लिए कमर कस ली है. विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ज्ञान चंद गुप्ता द्वारा इस संबंध में प्रयास शुरू करने के बाद अब राज्य सरकार ने इसके लिए कमेटी का गठन कर दिया है. कानून एवं विधि विभाग के लीगल रिमेम्ब्रेन्सर एवं प्रशासनिक सचिव की अध्यक्षता में गठित ये कमेटी 1968 के आदेश के अंतर्गत स्वीकृत अधिनियमों के उप-शीर्षकों के संशोधन के विषय में पुनरावलोकन एवं परीक्षण करेगी. इस कमेटी को एक महीने के भीतर मुख्य सचिव को रिपोर्ट देनी होगी.
