R.K Nagar Election: Why do Vaiko supports Stalin ?

Many political parties like Thirumavalavan's VCK Party, Vaiko's MDMK party amd Marxists to support DMK in this R.K Nagar elections. Especially Vaiko, supports DMK for first time since 2006. Vaiko loudly says DMK will taste the victory and
Stalin will win in this election. Public and others says the party will not sustain long after Vaiko join hands with them. DMK working president Stalin welcomed the decision, saying when all opposition parties were joing hands with it to end ''this horse-trading regime.
