Bhim Army has no links with PFI, claims of Rs 100 crore for Hathras case protest false: ED

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday clarified that the probe agency has found no links between Chandrashekhar Azad-led Bhim Army and PFI, which has been accused of inciting tensions during the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)protests, which rocked in various parts of the country in December 2019.
The agency also said that claims made about Rs 100 crore for Hathras case protest is false. The latest development comes after former UP DGP Brij Lal said that the Bhim Army and other various organisations were trying to mislead the family of the Hathras alleged rape victim. A 19-year-old Dalit women was gangraped in UP’s Hathras district and later cremated by UP Police after the victim succumbed to her injuries in Delhi. For more, watch the full video.
