"I Want" Using 想 & 要 | All The Way To Intermediate | ChinesePod

In this All the Way to Intermediate lesson, learn how to use two very important verbs (想 & 要) to get what you want. Both mean "to want", but have subtle differences and use cases.

Key Vocabulary:
想 - xiǎng - think, believe, suppose, would like to
要 - yào - want; need
吃 - chī - eat
鱼 - yú - fish
肉 - ròu - meat; flesh; pulp (of a fruit)
学 - xué - study, learn
语言 - yǔyán - language
想要 - xiǎngyào - to want to; to feel like; to fancy - 'more politely than yào'
