Chinese President Xi Jinping wished Donald and Melania Trump a 'fast recovery' today after their coronavirus diagnoses.President Trump tweeted an upbeat message from hospital last night where he is being treated for coronavirus with an experimental antibody treatment after reports claimed that he was having 'trouble breathing'. And today Chinese state TV reported Mr Jinping said: 'My wife, Peng Liyuan, and I express our sympathies to you and your wife and wish you a fast recovery.'Mr Jinping's message of support comes after Hu Xijin, the editor-in-chief of the Global Times, a mouthpiece of Jinping's Communist Party, said President Trump and his wife 'have paid the price for his gamble to play down the COVID-19'. LOVE!!!' after a CNN report quoted an unnamed presidential adviser claiming that there is 'reason for concern' about his condition and that the president was having 'trouble breathing' following his positive coronavirus test. 'This is serious,' the source told CNN, stating that Trump was 'very tired, very fatigued' and claimed that his condition was much more severe than First Lady Melania Trump's. They confirmed he is 'fatigued', but that his condition is not deteriorating and the public should not be alarmed.
