President Trump on Saturday tweeted about ongoing trade talks with China.

President Trump has tweeted an optimistic update about the ongoing trade talks with China.
"Just had a long and very good call with President Xi [Jingping] of China," he wrote Saturday. "Deal is moving along very well. If made, it will be very comprehensive, covering all subjects, areas and points of dispute. Big progress being made!"
The post comes just days before the U.S. is scheduled to implement a tariff hike on Chinese goods from 10 percent to 25 percent on January 1.
CNBC reports, the two sides, however, agreed to delay the increase at the G20 summit in Argentina, allowing them 90 days to continue negotiations involving agriculture and intellectual property, among other issues.
According to Reuters, the U.S. and China have both lost billions of dollars in the trade dispute this year.
