The Gujarat government has suffered a setback in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has quashed a notification of the Gujarat government, in which the government had given exemptions to the factories that they can get the workers to do additional work without paying overtime wages. The Supreme Court, while giving the verdict, said that due to the Corona epidemic, the state of the economy has become bad, in such a situation, the reason for not giving fair wages to laborers.

गुजरात सरकार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में झटका लगा है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गुजरात सरकार के एक नोटिफिकेशन को रद्द कर दिया है, जिसमें सरकार ने फैक्ट्रियों को छूट दी थी कि वे मजदूरों को ओवरटाइम मजदूरी का भुगतान किए बिना अतिरिक्त काम करा सकते हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने फैसला सुनाते हुए कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के कारण अर्थव्यवस्था की स्थिति बुरी हो गई है, ऐसे में मजदूरों को उचित मजदूरी नहीं दिया जाना इसका एक कारण हो सकता है.
