Identical triplets born in Argentina go home
  • 4 years ago
Three early born, identical baby girls have made headlines in Argentina for being a one-in-200-million-occurrence and they are now safe and sound back home. Victoria, Julieta and Delfina all originate from the same egg cell and one spermatozoid, something that only happens once in 200 million pregnancies. Last week the three girls were finally released from the IMA of Androgue birth clinic in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, two months after they were born by caesarean on 25th July. The three girls were conceived naturally, but arrived one month early and each weighed just 1.5 kilogramme (3.3 lbs) at birth.
