Indonesian gravediggers struggle to keep up as cemetery fills up in coronavirus-hit Jakarta

Gravedigger Junaedi Bin Hakim has been working around the clock with his colleagues at the Pondok Ranggon cemetery in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. The crew is preparing up to 40 burial pits every day to keep up with a spike in coronavirus deaths. On September 21, 2020, Indonesia reported 4,176 new Covid-19 cases, the biggest daily rise so far for the nation with the highest coronavirus-related death toll in Southeast Asia.
