China should begin the process of withdrawing its forces from all points of confrontation in eastern Ladakh. He should not try to change the status quo unilaterally on the border. Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said this on Thursday. Srivastava has said that both sides should focus on reducing stress and avoid any activity that increases stress.
