Modi government clarified on death toll of migrant laborers during lockdown. During the Corona crisis, the manner in which the lockdown was imposed across the country, thousands of migrant laborers were stuck in different places. Due to the long-term lockdown, the workers were forced to go to their homes on foot, in which many people died and thousands of laborers faced difficulties.

कोरोना संकट के दौरान जिस तरह से देशभर में लॉकडाउन लगाया गया, उसकी वजह से हजारों प्रवासी मजदूर अलग-अलग जगहों पर फंस गए. काफी दिनों तक चले लॉकडाउन की वजह से मजदूर पैदल ही अपने घर जाने को मजबूर हो गए, जिसमे कई लोगों की मौत हो गई जबकि हजारों मजदूरों को मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा.
