Analyst - Gumede has some power in the ANC

The ANC’s National Executive Committee will sit for a special meeting on corruption this weekend. A letter doing the rounds claims the party's Secretary-General Ace Magashule has been summoned over his comments on corruption. The appointment of former eThekwini mayor Zandile Gumede is also expected to be on the agenda. One political analyst says it is clear that Gumede has some power over the governing party.
