Thailand prime minister warns of national ‘collapse’ if protests keep rattling the country

Thailand’s prime minister said the “country will collapse” if pro-democracy protests continue. Prayuth Chan-ocha’s remarks on August 26, 2020, represented his sternest warning since July when mass, student-led demonstrations started. Among the demands being made by demonstrators is a call for Prayuth to resign.
