NEDA to benefit consumers

TNB CEO Datuk Seri Azman Mohd said that under the New Enhanced Dispatch Agreement (NEDA) introduced by the Energy Commission at the end of September, it will open up competition between independent power producers with power purchase agreement, TNB generation with service level agreement and merchants who do not have any power purchase agreement, thus it may bring down power tariff in the long run.
