Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram slammed the Centre on Monday morning by accusing the BJP of language bias in the country. Reacting to DMK MP Kanimozhi's allegations of language bias by a Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) personnel, Chidambaram said on Twitter, "I have experienced similar taunts from government officers and ordinary citizens who insisted that I speak in Hindi during telephone conversations and sometimes face to face."

The latest development comes after MP Kanimozhi accused a CISF personnel at Chennai airport who questioned her nationality for not knowing Hindi. For more, watch the full video.
