Chicken Dum Biryani ..( Hyderabadi style )

Ingredients:
Ingredients for marination of chicken
Chicken - 1 kg
Curd - 250 gms
Fried onion - 3 ( deep fry onion
sliced till golden brown)
Mint leaves - handful
Coriander leaves - handful
Ginger garlic paste - 4 Tbp
Red chilli powder - 2 Tbp
Haldi - 1/2 tps
Salt to taste
Cooking oil - 1 Tbp
Garam masla powder :
Grind { shahi jeera - 1 tps , cloves -8/9, black pepper-10/15, cinnamon-2 inch stick, green cardamom-10/12 }

- Making chicken masala for Biryani :
Cooking oil - 3 Tbp
Cinnamon - 2 sticks
Black cardamom - 3/4
Bay leaves - 3/4
Lemon juice - 2/3 Tbp
Now add marinated chicken

- For Making rice :
Basmati rice - 1 Kg
Salt to taste
Green cardamom - 8/9
Black cardamom - 5/6
Cinnamon - 2 sticks
Bay leaves - 5/6
Cloves - 8/9
Black pepper - 10/12

- For layering the Biryani..
Boil rice
Chicken masala
Fried onion - 3 ( deep fry onion
sliced till golden brown )
Mint leaves - handful
Lemon juice - 2 Tbp
Ghee - 4 Tbp
Milk - 1 bowl + food colour ( yellow)
