WATCH: Chennai techie tracks movement of Chandrayaan-2's Pragyan rover

A techie from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, named Shanmuga Subramanian on Saturday claimed that the rover onboard Chandrayaan 2, the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (Isro) moon mission, is currently present on the lunar surface. He, in a series of tweets, also said that it has moved a few metres.

The Chandrayaan 2 was India’s second mission to the moon in 2019. It had a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan.In a series of tweets, Shanmuga Subramanian said, "Chandrayaan2's Pragyan "ROVER" intact on Moon's surface has rolled out few metres from the skeleton Vikram lander whose payloads got disintegrated due to rough landing."
