Chinese river embankment bursts and sweeps away excavators

The embankment of a river burst and washed excavator away due to flooding in southern China.

In the video filmed on July 22, the Lianhe section of Shidaxu, Lujiang County, Anhui Province collapsed and overflowed. The large-scale excavating machinery was washed away by the flood.

It’s reported that the rescue personnel pushed in three excavators to try to block the breach, but the excavators were all washed away by the rapids.

Luckily there were no operators in the five excavators that were washed away.
