MLB News: Red Sox Test Out Fake Crowd Noise
As the Red Sox continue to gear up for their season at Fenway Park, the team has begun experimenting with the use of pumped in crowd noise. While no mandate has been given by the MLB to force teams to do this, teams can do so if they wish to avoid a totally silent game. The Red Sox did this after playing their first intersquad scrimmage in silence.
It remains to be seen if the Red Sox will use this feature or not in their regular season games.
