There are two main advantages of viewing an #eclipse from a plane: clouds are rarely a problem since #planes typically fly above clouds and if the plane flies westward then the eclipse lasts significantly longer (even if it’s not a Concorde).
There are also two main disadvantages: your field of vision is restricted by the window size and windows are often dirty, making it difficult to take decent pictures.
